Verifying a Certificate
Every completion certificate issued by learn.tuxcode.net includes a unique verification code and URL. This allows employers, recruiters, or anyone else to confirm that a certificate is authentic.
How to Verify
Method 1: Verification URL
Each certificate includes a unique URL in the format:
https://learn.tuxcode.net/verify/[verification-code]
Visiting this URL displays the certificate details:
- The certificate holder's name
- The certification completed
- The date of completion
- Confirmation that the certificate is valid
Method 2: QR Code
Each PDF certificate includes a QR code that links directly to the verification page. Scan it with any phone camera to verify instantly.
Method 3: Manual Lookup
Visit learn.tuxcode.net/verify and enter the verification code printed on the certificate. The system will confirm whether the code is valid and display the certificate details.
What Verification Confirms
Verification confirms that:
- The certificate was issued by learn.tuxcode.net.
- The named individual completed all requirements for the specified certification.
- The certificate has not been revoked.
What Verification Does Not Confirm
A learn.tuxcode.net completion certificate is not an official vendor certification. It confirms that the holder has completed our study program, including lessons, practice exams, flashcard mastery, and a passing Simulator Mode score. The official certification must be obtained through the vendor (CompTIA, AWS, Microsoft, or ISC2).
For Employers
If a candidate shares a learn.tuxcode.net certificate, it means they have demonstrated consistent, thorough study of the material. While it is not a substitute for the official exam, it indicates a strong knowledge foundation and the discipline to complete a structured study program.
Invalid Certificates
If a verification code returns "not found," the certificate may be:
- Typed incorrectly — double-check the code
- From a different platform
- Fraudulently created
